More About Dr. Marianne Leduc-Baker

Dr. Marianne graduated from Michigan State University in 1992. Her interests are in small animal medicine and surgery, with special interests in preventive health care. She is married to Dr. Andy and they have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren.

Dr. Marianne Leduc-Baker grew up on a small blueberry farm in Gobles, Michigan. As the youngest of seven children, she learned the value of hard work and dedication early on, helping her family on the farm. It was there that her lifelong love of animals took root, including riding horses and caring for the dogs and cats that inevitably found their way to the farm.

During high school, Dr. Marianne began volunteering at the Paw Paw Veterinary Clinic, where she met her future husband, Andy. The two dated through their undergraduate years and married while attending veterinary school. In 1992, Andy and Marianne graduated from Michigan State University with their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. They returned to the Gobles area, where they raised their family and went on to found both Gobles Veterinary Clinic and Bangor Veterinary Clinic in the early 1990s.

Professionally, Dr. Marianne’s interests include small animal medicine and surgery, practice management, and dentistry. Most recently, she completed the rigorous eight-month Veterinary Dental Practitioners Program through the International Veterinary Dentistry Institute (IVDI), further expanding the advanced care she provides to patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Marianne enjoys an active lifestyle. She and Andy have completed 21 Ironman triathlons around the world. They also share a love of hiking and travel. Above all, she treasures time spent with her grandchildren.
