Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson was brought in to our clinic as a 3 month old kitten
in the spring of 2025, having been recently adopted by a family as
a stray. Unfortunately, when they brought this cute little guy into
their home, their family dog bit him and broke both a front and a
back leg. The family had a good heart but limited finances, and
when they heard what it would cost to do 2 major orthopedic
surgeries to this newly adopted stray, they opted instead to have
him humanely euthanized.

Dr. Andy had recently lost his favorite home cat to old age, and
when he picked up this little black kitten with 2 broken legs and he
began to purr, he decided that this would not be the end of the
road for this little guy! Two surgeries and months of healing later,
Willie’s injuries are a distant memory. He is now Dr. Baker’s best
pal and official side seat driver, traveling back and forth with him
from work to home, perched on the center console.
